I was looking for a job and found this ad. I thought, «Great! This is exactly what I need!» But oh boy, was I wrong. The whole process of working with these guys to set up a company in Poland was a nightmare. First off, the responsibilities they listed were all over the place. It’s like they wanted me to do everything under the sun. Corporate performance management? Work with banks? Organization of shareholders’ meetings? What am I, a one-man show? And don’t even get me started on the requirements. They want someone who’s at least 18 years old? Well no duh, Sherlock! Who do they think is going to be setting up this company for them? A toddler? And as for experience in company registration and opening a bank account on behalf of the company… yeah right! Like that’s something everyone knows how to do. Plus, it’s not like they offer any training or support. You’re just supposed to know how to do it all magically. And fluent English? Come on now, that should go without saying if you’re applying for a job like this. But here’s the real kicker: the conditions they offered were just laughable. The salary «depends on the candidate and results of interview»? What does that even mean? Are they going to pay me in unicorn tears or something equally ridiculous? And don’t even get me started on the so-called «flexible» workday. Translation: you’ll be working your butt off with no overtime pay or time off in return. So yeah, save yourself some sanity and steer clear of these jokers if you value your time and energy
